Thank you Chewelah Young Life

My wife Tammy and I had the opportunity to attend the Young Life Auction Gala Saturday night benefiting our youth wanting to attend Young Life summer camp. Tammy has attended in the past, but this was my first one. What a special program. In this crazy world where kids have way too much online stimulation this organization focuses on the young individual and helps them with challenges they are going through. I'm not an overly religious person myself but found the spiritual element very touching as well. We were particularly inspired and moved by the event and the impact this program is having on our youth. Many in our town may be familiar with Young Life but I was really impressed with all the volunteer efforts that go into a cause totally focused on our youth. I have a good friend who lost their 15yr old son to suicide a few years back and I could only wonder, while attending the Gala, what difference this group of caring folks could have had on my friend's son. How fortunate I was to learn about this great highly impactful youth-focused organization.
